About Dr Ben King

Dr Benjamin King is an electrophysiologist and general cardiologist. Ben is a graduate of the University of Western Australia Medical School with Honours in 2003. He trained in Internal Medicine and Cardiology at Royal Perth and Fremantle hospitals as well as in London, UK. Ben then completed subspecialty training Electrophysiology and Pacing at the University Health Network / University of Toronto in Canada. 

Ben is the clinical lead of the Ventricular Tachycardia service at Fiona Stanely Hospital. He practices both in general cardiology as well as heart rhythm disorders. He has trained to implant all forms of pacemakers, defibrillators and cardiac resynchronization devices as well to perform ablations including supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), atrial fibrillation (AF), ventricular tachycardia (VT) and arrhythmias in adult congenital heart disease. 

Ben takes an active role in research and has been published in a number of international journals and served on both national and international of advisory boards. 

Ben currently has an appointment at the Mount Hospital and St John of God Hospital Murdoch. Ben consults at Perth Mount and Yokine.
