About Dr Cassandra Li

Dr Cassandra Li received her medical degree from the University of Otago and went on to complete her Basic Training and Advanced Training in Cardiology at Wellington Hospital, New Zealand. Dr Li then completed a fellowship in advanced heart failure, heart transplant and cardiac imaging at Auckland City Hospital, and has recently moved to Melbourne to undertake a further fellowship in cardiac CT and MRI at The Alfred Hospital.

She is passionate about improving outcomes for patients with heart failure and is eager to apply the rapidly evolving non-invasive cardiac imaging techniques to advancing patient care.

Dr Li speaks English and Mandarin Chinese.

In her spare time, Cassandra enjoys functional fitness, running, music and travel, and she is always eager to hear recommendations for areas to explore around Melbourne.
