About Dr G. (Srini) Srinivasan

Dr Srinivasan is a Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist with special clinical interest in non invasive cardiac imaging and cardiac CT. He graduated from the University of Madras, India in 1992 and gained experience in cardiology at the Madras Medical Mission, one of the premier institutes and tertiary referral centres for cardiac disorders in Chennai. 

He completed his advanced cardiology training at the Greenlane Cardiovascular Centre and Middlemore Hospital in Auckland. While practising as a Consultant Cardiologist in New Zealand he was invited by the Cook Islands, Ministry of Health to lead a cardiac clinic in Rarotonga Hospital. Srini was awarded his FRACP in 2010. 

To further advance his expertise in cardiac imaging Srini completed a Clinical Fellowship in cardiac magnetic resonance imaging at Flinders Medical Centre and is involved in clinical research projects in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and heart failure with preserved ejection fraction. 

Srini is a non-interventional Cardiologist with extensive experience in Echocardiography and Cardiac Magnetic Resonance imaging and has an interest in all aspects of clinical cardiology. In 2017 he accepted the central role in managing the inaugural Heart Failure Clinic at Advara HeartCare. 

Srini consults at the St Andrew’s Medical Centre, St Andrew’s Hospital, and at our Leabrook, Kingswood, Gawler, Kadina, Modbury and Broken Hill clinics.
