About Dr Gerard Connors

Dr Gerard Connors is an Interventional Cardiologist and Vascular Physician. He completed two sub-specialty fellowships in the United States – Interventional Vascular Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston and Interventional Cardiology at Stony Brook University, New York. 

Prior to this, he graduated from the University of Queensland with Honours and completed specialist training in Cardiology at the Princess Alexandra Hospital. His specialist interests include coronary artery disease, vascular medicine, venous thromboembolism, peripheral artery disease and hypertension. 

He performs coronary intervention, peripheral and renal artery intervention and renal denervation for treatment of refractory hypertension. Dr Connors provides consulting and interventional services at Greenslopes Private Hospital, is a Visiting Medical Officer at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and regularly visits Emerald.
