About Dr Juan Mundisugih
Dr Juan Mundisugih is an Australian-trained cardiologist who graduated from the University of Adelaide before completing physician training in Victoria and advanced cardiology training in South Australia. He subsequently completed a Graduate Diploma in Cardiac Electrophysiology. Dr Mundisugih is currently an Electrophysiology Clinical Fellow at Westmead Hospital and Campbelltown Hospital and is completing a PhD at the University of Sydney. His research focuses on developing novel gene therapies for ventricular arrhythmias following myocardial infarction.
Dr Mundisugih has experience in the diagnosis and management of a broad range of cardiovascular conditions, with particular interests in arrhythmias, syncope, and cardiac implantable electronic devices. He is actively involved in clinical research and medical education and has secured international fellowships in the Netherlands and the United Kingdom to further his training in complex catheter ablation, inherited cardiac conditions, and cardiac device therapy.
Outside of medicine, Dr Mundisugih enjoys spending time with his wife and young son, travelling, and maintaining an active lifestyle.
