About Dr Kunal Nagar

Dr Kunal Nagar is an Australian-trained general and interventional cardiologist. He has a keen interest in chest pain assessment, arrhythmias, heart failure, and preventive cardiology.

He completed his physician training at Nepean Hospital, Sydney, followed by cardiology training at Campbelltown-Liverpool Hospital Network. He then pursued interventional fellowships at Western Health, Melbourne (Yean L. Lim Fellowship), and Campbelltown Hospital, Sydney.
Dr Nagar has worked as a locum interventional cardiologist at major hospitals across Australia, including Sunshine Coast University Hospital, Bendigo Health, Townsville University Hospital, and Mackay Base Hospital. After a fulfilling locum experience, he now calls the Sunshine Coast home.

A passionate educator and mentor, he has served as a Conjoint Associate Lecturer at Western Sydney University and UNSW, training medical students and cardiology trainees.

Dr Nagar is dedicated to personalised, patient-centred care, ensuring patients and their families feel heard, valued, and well-supported.

He is fluent in English, Hindi, Gujarati, and Marathi.
