About Dr Matthew Zada
Dr Matthew Zada is a Cardiologist with subspecialty expertise in Advanced Cardiac Imaging (Cardiac CT, Cardiac MRI and Echocardiography). He completed his medical training at the University of Sydney, where he was awarded a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery and a Bachelor of Medical Science, graduating with First Class Honours and the University Medal. Dr Zada also completed a Master of Philosophy at the University of Sydney, undertaking research focused on the application of advanced echocardiography techniques to improve the diagnosis and management of patients with heart disease.
Following specialist cardiology training, Dr Zada completed a prestigious fellowship at the Advanced Cardiac Imaging Centre at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney, where he developed subspecialty expertise in cardiac CT and cardiac MRI. In parallel with his clinical practice, he remains involved in teaching and education and regularly tutors medical students and physician trainees.
Dr Zada has a passionate interest in the early detection and treatment of heart disease, using non-invasive cardiac imaging to support timely diagnosis. He takes a patient-centred approach, carefully explaining results and guiding patients through their care with the goal of improving overall cardiovascular health and wellbeing.
