About Dr Peter Moore

Dr Peter Moore is a cardiologist with subspecialty training in interventional cardiology, in both coronary and structural heart procedures.

Dr Moore graduated from the University of Queensland medical school with First Class Honours and a University Medal in 2008. He undertook his Advanced Training in Cardiology at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane, and attained his Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2015. He subsequently undertook two interventional cardiology fellowships: at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane in 2016; and the Royal Jubilee Hospital and Victoria Heart Institute Foundation, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada in 2017-18.

Dr Moore has published multiple studies in peer-reviewed journals, and has presented research findings at national and interventional conferences.

Dr Moore consults and undertakes procedures at The Wesley Hospital, Brisbane, and visits St Vincent’s Private Hospital, Toowoomba.
