About Dr Saheb Al-Daher
After completing a medical degree overseas, Dr Saheb Al-Daher moved to Australia in 1999 and commenced the AMC qualification process. His first role in Australia was as a resident house officer in Victoria in 2000, followed by enrolment in the RACP training program in 2001. Dr Al-Daher completed his cardiology training in 2007.
In 2014 he completed a PhD from Monash University which was followed by a two-year fellowship in interventional cardiology. Since then, Dr Al-Daher has worked as an interventional and general cardiologist across both the public and private sectors. Additionally, he has volunteered and established two cardiac centres including catheterisation laboratories in the Middle East.
Dr Al-Daher’s clinical interests include interventional and general cardiology. He has an interest in imaging cardiology including CTCA. During his work in the private sector, he gained some experience in structural heart disease management, including TAVR, watchman device implantation, PFO and ASD closures and renal denervation therapy.
Dr Al-Daher speaks English and Arabic.
