Advara HeartCare provides comprehensive cardiac procedures across all sub-specialties of cardiology. These procedures are performed in our partner hospitals.
See information below to find out more about cardiac procedures.
Coronary Angiography
A diagnostic procedure performed by our highly trained cardiologists when you have suspected coronary artery disease.
Coronary Angioplasty and Stenting
A treatment for coronary artery disease that opens up blocked coronary arteries. This procedure is performed by our highly trained interventional cardiologists either electively or in some cases as an emergency.
Implantable Loop Recorder
A diagnostic device which is implanted when a cardiac arrhythmia is suspected following a black out or stroke.
Permanent Pacemaker Implantation
A treatment for patients that have problems with their heart beating too slow.
Cardiac Resynchronisation Therapy
A treatment for patients with heart failure that helps the heart to pump more effectively.
Implantable Cardiac Defibrillator
A device that stops the heart from beating too quickly. This procedure is performed by our highly trained electrophysiologists
Cardioversion
A treatment option for patients experiencing atrial fibrillation, a common electrical disturbance of the heart. This procedure can be performed by any of our cardiologists as a planned procedure or in an emergency
Electrophysiological Study
A procedure that is performed to determine a treatment plan for patients with an abnormal cardiac electrical system.
Catheter Ablation for Atrial Fibrillation
A procedure for patients experiencing symptoms brought on by atrial fibrillation – a condition where the heart may beat too fast or irregularly. This procedure aims to improve quality of life by reducing or eliminating the burden of symptoms.
Catheter Ablation for Supraventricular Tachycardia
A procedure for patients who wish to avoid lifelong medication. This procedure aims to improve quality of life by reducing or eliminating the burden of symptoms.
Transoesophageal Echocardiogram
This procedure shows images of the structure of the heart. Performed by our highly trained diagnostic imaging cardiologists, this procedure may be performed alone or to support the effective completion of another procedure. It is similar to an endoscopy, in that a small instrument is placed in the oesophagus close to the heart and pictures are taken with an ultrasound probe (instead of a camera that is on an endoscope).
