About Dr Abdolali Zolghadrasli
Dr Abdolali Zolghadrasli, more commonly known as Abdi, completed his cardiology training in Shiraz, Iran, where he worked for six years as a consultant cardiologist and Assistant Professor of Cardiology at the Department of Cardiology, Shiraz University.
In 2019, he moved to Australia to further expand his clinical expertise and gain broader experience in cardiology practice. In Melbourne, he completed a Heart Failure Fellowship at Austin Health, followed by advanced training in cardiac imaging, including CT coronary angiography, cardiac MRI, and transoesophageal echocardiography (TOE), at Alfred Health.
Abdi has a strong interest in cardiovascular research. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and also serves as a scientific reviewer and associate editor for medical journals.
His clinical interests include general cardiology, heart failure, ischaemic heart disease, cardiomyopathies and advanced cardiac imaging, including echocardiography, coronary CT angiography, and cardiac MRI.
In addition to his role at Advara HeartCare, Dr Zolghadrasli holds a public hospital appointment at Bendigo Health, where he serves as Deputy Clinical Unit Head.
Dr Zolghadrasli is fluent in English and Persian and can also assist with basic French.
