About Dr Jeffrey Sebastian

Prior to joining Advara HeartCare, Dr Jeffrey Sebastian worked as an Imaging Cardiologist at Auckland City Hospital (Te Toka Tumai, Auckland and Te Whatu Ora), providing high-quality care and treatment for patients with cardiovascular diseases in one of the biggest cardiovascular centres in Australasia.

Specialising in cardiovascular imaging and having worked as a senior registrar at Te Whatu Ora Auckland, Te Whatu Ora Waitemata and Te Whatu Ora Counties Manukau, Jeff gained extensive skills and knowledge in various modalities such as echocardiography.

Currently undertaking further advanced imaging fellowship training at the Alfred, he is also an active clinical researcher, conducting and publishing several studies on the epidemiology, diagnosis and management of cardiac conditions, especially in the Maori and Pacific populations.

Jeff is committed to improving the heart health and well-being of the communities he serves and advancing the knowledge and practice of cardiology in Australia and beyond.
